Critical to optimal barrier function, fatty acids and lipids trigger Peroxisome Proliferator-Activated Receptors (PPARs) in the epidermis. PPAR activators improve the skin barrier and are known to minimize signs of inflammation.
EpiGyn® is formulated with an exclusive complex called P2ARX™. This proprietary complex of fatty acids and lipids help activate PPARs to promote barrier repair and lessen signs of inflammation.
